How it Works
The Executive Physical is designed as a two-part process so that your time with Dr. Ratliff is spent doing what matters most — reviewing results, making sense of your history, and building your plan.
Step 1: 30-Minute Zoom Intake Session
Before anything else, you'll meet with Dr. Ratliff virtually to review your complete medical history, discuss your health goals and concerns, and determine exactly which labs and screenings are right for you. Dr. Ratliff will also request any relevant outside records to review in advance.
This is where the personalization begins — your Executive Physical is built around you, not a template.
Step 2: 90-Minute In-Person Visit
Once your labs are back, you'll come in for an extended 90-minute in-person appointment. This is where Dr. Ratliff conducts your physical exam, walks through every result with you in plain language, and builds your personalized health plan — covering nutrition, supplements, lifestyle, follow-up testing, specialist referrals if needed, and next steps.
This is not a "here are your results, see you next year" conversation. It's a real partnership.

Every Executive Physical includes a comprehensive, integrative evaluation. Because Dr. Ratliff tailors each assessment to the individual, exact testing is personalized — but your Executive Physical will include:
Comprehensive Physical Exam
Head-to-toe physical examination with detailed review of your medical history, family history, current medications, and lifestyle factors — including nutrition, sleep, stress, and movement.
Advanced Lab Panel
Advanced Lab Panel Far beyond standard annual bloodwork. Dr. Ratliff orders the labs that actually tell the full story — including an advanced cholesterol panel measuring particle number and size distribution, extensive thyroid evaluation, key vitamins and minerals most physicians don't test, comprehensive hormone panel (testosterone, estrogen, and others tailored to you), and metabolic markers for insulin resistance and cardiovascular risk.
EKG
A baseline electrocardiogram to assess your heart's electrical activity and screen for abnormalities.
Personalized Health Plan
The most important deliverable. Dr. Ratliff synthesizes everything — your history, your labs, your exam findings, and your goals — into a clear, actionable plan that tells you exactly what to do next. Not a printed summary. A real conversation with your doctor.
Optional Add-Ons
Depending on your age, history, and goals, Dr. Ratliff may recommend additional testing such as genetic screening, advanced cancer detection panels, or other specialized labs. These can be incorporated and priced accordingly.

The Executive Physical is a standalone service and is not included in Direct Primary Care membership. It is available to both members and non-members at the same price.
